Removes Common Contaminants
FafSorb HC filters effectively remove indoor and outdoor gaseous contaminants at high airflow rates, improving indoor air quality. They can be retrofitted into existing HVAC systems or specified in new constructions. Compatible with equipment designed for 12" deep, single header filters.
Media
Choose from FafCarb media, composed of activated carbon, FafOxidant media, a blend of activated alumina impregnated with potassium permanganate, or a combination of both. The media is housed in honeycomb-structured panels with fine mesh scrim on each side to retain the granules. FafCarb effectively eliminates VOCs, jet and diesel fumes, and hydrocarbons, while FafOxidant removes hydrogen sulfide, sulfur oxides, formaldehyde, and nitric oxides.
